FICC Veteran Gareth Evans Joins Mosaic Smart Data as Chief Product Officer

Fazzaco learned that Mosaic Smart Data (Mosaic) has secured fixed income, currencies and commodities (FICC) veteran Gareth Evans as Chief Product Officer, with remits of continuing to shape the strategic product direction of the firm's innovative, data-driven tools.

Mosaic delivers the insight and real-time intelligence that FICC market participants need to increase business opportunities and meet regulatory requirements.

Evans has 18-year demonstrated experience in financial technology from developer through to global product owner. He joined Mosaic from UBS where he was Executive Director, leading the product management team for the Investment Banks Distribution and Sales platforms. Between September 2011 and February 2020, he was Owner and Managing Director of Evans and Peel Ltd.

He has spent four years at Deutsche Bank, having held multiple senior roles and departed from the position of European Head of Credit and Rates Technology. Besides, Evans has been with ION for around 8 years, initially responsible for Business Development. After two years and a half, he was appointed as Senior Product Manager. And previously at Morgan Stanley, he served as Software Developer for over four years.
