Wildon Goh has been appointed as the Head of Southeast Asia and Country Head of Singapore, subject to regulatory approval. This promotion, effective immediately, marks a significant step in Fidelity's ongoing strategy to expand its footprint in the region.

Goh, who has been with Fidelity since 2015, was previously responsible for overseeing the firm’s wholesale distribution business across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia. His extensive experience in distribution and relationship management, gained from previous roles at BlackRock, Citi, and HSBC, has positioned him as a strong leader for Fidelity’s Southeast Asia operations. Goh takes over from Sabrina Gan, who departed the firm in December 2024.

Southeast Asia remains a critical growth region for Fidelity. According to Damien Mooney, Managing Director of Asia Pacific (Ex-Japan) at Fidelity International, the region has shown great potential for innovation and strategic partnerships in recent years. Under Goh’s leadership, Fidelity aims to further expand its market presence by utilizing its global research capabilities and a range of tailored financial solutions designed to meet the unique needs of clients across the region.

Fidelity’s expansion strategy is supported by a new leadership structure designed to strengthen its distribution network in Southeast Asia. Jonathan Leong, a long-time employee of Fidelity, has been promoted to Head of Wholesale, Southeast Asia. Leong will lead the company’s efforts to grow its retail distribution business, focusing on expanding Fidelity’s reach to retail investors. His extensive experience within the firm has been instrumental in developing its wholesale distribution capabilities in recent years.

Additionally, Adin Tan has been appointed Head of Private Banking for Hong Kong and Singapore. In this role, Tan will be responsible for overseeing Fidelity’s key private banking relationships in two of the region’s largest wealth management markets. Tan’s appointment reflects Fidelity’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its ties with private banking clients in these key markets, which continue to see significant growth in high-net-worth individuals and family offices. Both Leong and Tan will report directly to Goh, further consolidating the leadership structure for Southeast Asia.

These leadership changes reflect Fidelity’s broader strategy to deepen its commitment to Southeast Asia and address the increasing demand for wealth management solutions across the region. With Goh leading the charge in Southeast Asia, Fidelity is poised to build on its strong foundation in the region, providing a comprehensive range of investment and financial services to meet the evolving needs of investors.

As the firm continues to grow in Southeast Asia, Fidelity remains focused on offering innovative, research-driven solutions that cater to both institutional and retail clients. By bolstering its leadership in the region, Fidelity is positioning itself as a key player in the Southeast Asian asset management landscape, ensuring it remains competitive and well-equipped to meet the demands of an increasingly sophisticated investor base.
