Fidelity Labs is looking for a VP – Applied NLP Engineer to join a new startup. The startup’s focus is building innovative technology for financial services. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing and delivery of well artchitected NLP models at scale.

The Expertise You Have

• Post-graduate degree in STEM or Computational Linguistics with proven record of delivering an NLP commercial application with a large training network component for unstructured textual data
• Bonus points for AWS, AngularJS, d3js
  
  
  

The Skills You Bring

• In-depth knowledge and experience in NLP that you applied to solve real world problems
• Experience building production ML model containers at scale (e.g., SageMaker deployment)
• Experience with Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). Hands-on experience with RNN, CNN, text anomaly detection, text summarization, topic modelling, semantic search, classification
• Expert experience with Python/PyTorch, TensorFlow, NLTK, and other NLP frameworks
• Experience in software engineering (source control, debugging, testing, deployment, etc.)
• Experience in data wrangling, discovery and operationalizing models using cloud based service
• Full understanding of text pre-processing pipeline (e.g., pdf parsing, tokenization, POS tagging)
• Direct experience in Agile, SCRUM, SaFE, etc. and use of the Atlassian tool suite
• Passion for testing as a core part of the development and model migration to production process
