Payments and foreign exchange solutions provider Finablr announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Bhairav Trivedi, step down on 1 January 2021. Robert Miller is appointed to take over this role.

Prior to this CEO change, the company agreed to be bought by an Israeli-United Arab Emirates consortium.

As seen on his Linkedin profile, Miller has been the group’s Human Resources Director since October 2019. He brings more than 25 years of experience in remuneration, sales compensation and general HR to his new position at the company.

Before joining Finablr, Miller previously served as partner of Deloitte, where he spent more than three years. Additionally, since May 2010 he has been the Head of EMEA at Radford, Aon Hewitt’s subsidiary, where he worked as a consultant for five years.

Over the course of his career, Miller also worked at Ernst & Young and Towers Perrin.

Commenting on the appointment, Michael Tomalin, chairman at Finablr, said: “On behalf of the board, I want to thank Bhairav for his leadership, energy and commitment during a very difficult period in the company’s history, culminating in the signing of a definitive agreement with Global Fintech Investments Holding.”
