Finalto Appoints Sam Horowitz as Head of Liquidity

Financial technology firm Finalto has appointed Sam Horowitz as its new Head of Liquidity, strengthening its leadership team with a seasoned expert in FX trading and risk management.
Horowitz brings three decades of experience across wholesale markets, including trading, risk management, liquidity provision, distribution, and technology. His previous roles include Head of FX Distribution and Liquidity Management at CMC Markets and Head of eFX Trading for Global Markets at BBVA, where he served for seven years. Most recently, he was Head of Treasury at RAFIKI, a fintech backed by Y Combinator.
In a statement, Horowitz said, "Finalto has a reputation for dynamism. I'm excited to join the team and work with my talented colleagues to help continue the company's commitment to delivering liquidity solutions that respond to evolving market conditions."
Andrew Biggs, CEO of Finalto Trading, welcomed Horowitz, noting, "His appointment reflects our commitment to investing in top-tier talent to support our clients with innovative, reliable, and responsive liquidity solutions."
The move highlights a trend in the fintech and FX sectors, where firms increasingly strengthen leadership and liquidity capabilities to address rapidly evolving market conditions and client needs. Horowitz's appointment is expected to bolster Finalto's ability to deliver tailored liquidity solutions and expand its presence across global FX markets.
