Finalto Enhances Offering with New York-Based Data Center NY4, Plans to Expand to Singapore's SG3 Next

Source: Gin

Finalto, a leading provider of B2B multi-asset liquidity and clearing services, announced that it will be expanding its offering into New York-based liquidity pool and data center, NY4. The data center NY4, operated and maintained by the world's digital infrastructure company Equinix, serves the world's large financial, media and enterprise companies with international business exchange facilities and interconnection services.

As the broker stated, it has spent the last 13 years pricing a broad range of securities from FX, bullion, indices, equities, and more, out of London-based datacentre LD4. Currently, US-based clients of the Finalto experienced “a roughly 30 millisecond hop to get a price from London to New York", which is a significant latency regarding price data in a fast-paced financial market.

"Finalto's core business is – and always has been – liquidity distribution and technology innovation. The company has maintained a commitment to providing reliable and efficient pricing to a broad range of clients and regions," explained Paul Groves, Head of Sales at Finalto Europe. "Our expansion strategy with NY4, and also ultimately SG3 (another data center operated by Equinix) in Singapore, is facilitating a significantly lower latency and robust service for worldwide clients."

Groves revealed that the company planned to expand its offering into SG3 in "the second half of 2023" to gain "a truly global coverage coming from London, New York and Singapore".

He added: "Plans to globalise services in this way have been in the works for Finalto for close to two years now and tireless work has been undertaken by the team to bring liquidity closer to our clients both geographically and in terms of price."

Over the past three months, the broker has announced a number of appointments, including naming Matthew Maloney as its Group CEO, Klelia Orphanidou as B2B Head of Regulatory Compliance, and Antony Parsons as Head of Liquidity, to strengthen its leadership team and enhance its ability to execute strategy.
