Finmo Partners with Standard Chartered to Launch Multi-Market Global Currency Account

Finmo has partnered with Standard Chartered to introduce Global Currency Account (GCA) capabilities, allowing businesses to manage pay-ins, pay-outs, and foreign exchange across markets with greater transparency and control.
The collaboration enables Finmo customers to open and manage multi-currency accounts, beginning in Singapore, with future expansion planned for the UAE, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. The integration leverages Standard Chartered’s international banking network to streamline global fund flows and provide real-time visibility into liquidity and cash positions.
Through the partnership, clients will be able to automate cross-border payments, execute FX transactions, and access real-time data from a unified platform. Finmo’s Smart Treasury system will connect directly to Standard Chartered’s infrastructure via banking APIs, providing institutional-grade access to multi-market currency accounts.
Finmo Co-founder and Head of Strategy & Network Partnerships Richard Oh said the collaboration would help businesses “simplify global money movement and gain real-time visibility across entities and currencies,” adding that it enhances control and foresight over liquidity management.
Luke Boland, Head of Fintech for ASEAN, South Asia, and GCNA at Standard Chartered, said the bank’s partnership with Finmo reflects its commitment to supporting digital-first financial infrastructure. “Together, we’re enabling faster access to multi-currency liquidity and improving transparency across global operations,” he said.
The partnership positions Finmo among the few treasury platforms with direct integration to Standard Chartered’s multi-market infrastructure, offering finance teams enhanced efficiency in managing FX risk, liquidity, and cross-border transactions.
