First Derivatives names Eric Raab as KX CTO

First Derivatives (FD), a leading provider of products and services to the capital markets industry, announced that it has named Eric Raab as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for KX, the Group's ultra-high-performance analytics software business, effective on 1st March 2021. 

In his new role, Eric will be responsible for research and development and the technology roadmap at KX, with a focus on accelerating expansion of its platform across industries.

Prior to joining FD, Eric worked as CTO at Information Builders Inc., a leading data and analytics software company, where he oversaw and managed all technology projects within the firm including software research and development and quality assurance. Before that, Eric served as CTO at Yodle Inc., a digital marketing firm. Eric has also held CTO and senior engineering positions within telecoms and networking firms, including at M5 Networks and Line2.

Eric is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Mathematics and holds a Ph.D. in Atomic and Molecular Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
