FIS, a global leader in financial services technology, has released its financial metrics for the third quarter of 2021, disclosing that its revenue grew YoY 10% to $3.5 billion.

Net earnings attributable to common stockholders came in at $158 million or $0.26 per diluted share. Adjusted EBITDA reached $1.6 billion, up YoY 17%. And adjusted EBITDA margin expanded by 270 basis points (bps) to 45.2%, primarily due to high contribution margins from revenue growth as well as ongoing revenue and expense synergies. Besides, adjusted net earnings enjoyed an increase of YoY 21% to $1.1 billion.

“Our team continues to execute exceptionally well,” said Gary Norcross, FIS Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We’re successfully leveraging our broad portfolio and global reach to speed innovation. Further, our robust cash flow enabled us to accelerate share buybacks during the third quarter without sacrificing our ability to execute our growth-focused M&A strategy.”
