Flow Traders Appoints Thomas Spitz as CEO

Flow Traders has announced that Thomas Spitz will take over as Chief Executive Officer on September 1, pending regulatory and shareholder approval. He is also nominated to join the Board as an Executive Director.

Spitz brings over two decades of global financial markets experience, including recent leadership roles at QuantCube Middle East and First Abu Dhabi Bank. His career includes a long tenure at Crédit Agricole, where he held senior positions across trading and sales operations.

Chairman of the Board Rudolf Ferscha expressed confidence in the appointment, noting Spitz's "wealth of experience" and track record in driving innovation and growth. The company emphasized that Spitz will lead Flow Traders' strategic initiatives, including expansion of trading capital and diversification.

Spitz described the nomination as an honor and highlighted Flow Traders' capabilities: "I see tremendous opportunities given the extraordinary capabilities the Company has built over the past two decades."

Outgoing CEO Mike Kuehnel will remain in his role until August 31 to ensure a smooth transition. The shareholder meeting to confirm Spitz's appointment to the Board is expected to take place later this year.
