FMA Issues Warning About Crypto Trader, Golden Hawk

FMA issues warning that the website goldenhawkgroup.com may be operating a scam. The regulator received reports of people being unable to recover funds paid to the website as well as a report that Golden Hawk is associated with Lionetix, a suspected scam entity FMA has previously warned about.

The entity offers trading in cryptocurrency via their website. Golden Hawk is not a registered entity, nor a registered financial service provider in New Zealand. As such, they are not registered to provide financial products or services to New Zealand residents.

FMA recommend exercising caution when dealing with this entity.
