FMA Issues Warning Against Goldridge Investment Limited

The FMA recommends exercising caution when dealing with Goldridge Investment Limited and goldridgeinvestmentlimited.com (the website) as the regulator is concerned that they are operating a scam. FMA found that they offer financial services and investment plans with unrealistically high returns.

According to FMA, the entity is not an incorporated company or a registered financial service provider in New Zealand, as claimed on their website. It is not authorised by, nor associated with Goldridge Investments Limited (GIL), an incorporated company in New Zealand. The website lists GIL's company registration details and company address without permission. It also uses a company name similar to GIL which may mislead the investor.

FMA noted that the website has copied photos and information from aust-mtic.com, a website operated by Australasia-Mining Trade & Investment Corporation Pty Limited.

Furthermore, the website contains false information, i.e. it claims to have underwritten Lantern Insurance with "the Bank of New Zealand" which is fictitious.
