The FMA recommends exercising caution when dealing with Crypto Bot as the regulator has received a report of Crypto Bot using a fake article with the name and images of a well-known New Zealand public figure to promote their platform.

According to FMA, the returns published by Crypto Bot in the article and website are unrealistically high and have not been substantiated.
Besides, FMA noted that the operators of the website are not registered financial service providers in New Zealand.
On that basis, FMA believes that the entity may be operating a scam.
