FOREX.com Japan to End MetaTrader 4 Service by October 2026

FOREX.com Japan has notified clients that it will terminate its MetaTrader 4 (MT4) service, with account access and trading on the platform ceasing in October 2026 or later. The broker attributed the move to increasingly stringent cybersecurity standards, which it said require stronger protection of client assets and personal information.

Since June 2026, the company has offered MetaTrader 5 (MT5) as the successor platform, citing enhanced analytical functions, processing performance, a wider range of timeframes and advanced charting tools compared with MT4.

FOREX.com Japan clients can trade Japanese stock CFDs, stock index CFDs and knockout options with FX as the underlying asset. The broker’s proprietary FOREX.com account features TradingView charts and AI-powered performance analysis.
