Former Equiti Capital Executive John Williams Joins Rostro as CIO

Fazzaco learned that Rostro Financials Group, a fintech company focused on capital markets and digital assets, has appointed John Williams as the company's Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Williams brings 20 years of technology industry experience to the company. As seen on his LinkedIn profile, he joined Rostro from Equiti Capital, one of the leading financial services providers of Forex and CFD liquidity and part of the Equiti Group Ltd. Williams spent over five years with the company, serving as its Global Head of Information & Technology, and Data Protection Officer.

Williams is a strategic IT professional with a real passion for Technology, Data Security and Cyber Security. Prior to Equiti, he has worked for over three years at Naked Communications, where he joined in 2013 as IT Manager Europe and later was promoted as the Head of IT Europe. During his career he has worked with other names in the technology industry such as The Leading Edge, Loveurope and so on.

Last week, Rostro has appointed Mitesh Vaghela as Group Chief Product Officer. Vaghela joins the company with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He also joined Rostro from Equiti Capita, where he served as Director of Product.
