Former NYSE President Joins Uniswap Labs as an Adviser

Fazzaco learned that Uniswap, an leading decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, has hired Stacey Cunningham to be an adviser in its subsidiary company Uniswap Labs.
Before joining Uniswap, Stacey spent more than nine years at the New York Stock Exchange, where she served as its first female president from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, Stacey worked at Nasdaq for nearly six years.
A Twitter thread posted by Uniswap indicated that Stacey joined Uniswap Labs because "she believes in the potential of decentralized exchange and in Uniswap's commitment to fairer markets."
According to an informed source, Stacey will be responsible for supervision over the company's role in DeFi.
Since the crypto boom appears, many finance executives in traditional companies turned to join the crypto industry. It was reported that former Goldman Sachs (GS) partner Roger Barlett joined Coinbase to lead its global financial operations in February. Besides, Provenance Blockchain appointed longtime Citigroup (C) executive Morgan McKenney as its new CEO in March.
