Former Revolut Communications Director Chad West Joins Wombat’s Advisory Board

Fazzaco learned that micro-investing platform Wombat has added Chad West, former Revolut's Communications Director, to its advisory board, as part of the company's efforts to expand across Europe and launch new products and features in 2022.

The new hiring comes months after Wombat made additions to its Marketing department. In June, the company announced the appointments of ex-Hargreaves Lansdown CIO David Davies and ex-eToro Managing Director Iqbal Gandham.

Founded in 2019, Wombat has quickly become one of the fastest-growing investment apps and services available in the UK, with beyond 200,000 users. The company has raised £4.5 million to date and is now preparing its Series A funding.

The funding will also support the company's planned expansion into the European market. The funds raised will be split between marketing to raise brand awareness, and the growth of the team.
