FreedomPay Partners with JP Morgan to Expand Offerings across UK & Europe

FreedomPay, a pioneer in payments technology, recently announced its partnership with JP Morgan in a bid to expand commerce offering across the UK, Switzerland, and other parts of Europe.
With the new partnership, FreedomPay will be enpowered to provide card offerings. At the same time, consumers will also be able to opt for contactless payments.
Founded in 2000, FreedomPay provides a platform for merchants to unify their payments across several channels and also helps to collate all the user data in a single place. This can then be used for payment processing and reconciliation and increases convenience for the merchants.
Commenting on the latest partnership, Tony Hammond, SVP of Global Product Delivery at FreedomPay, said, “FreedomPay is excited to expand our relationship with J.P. Morgan to offer greater functionality to millions of shoppers across in-store payments. Advances in technology and changes in consumer behavior since COVID-19 has led many merchants to rethink their approach to customer experiences and the world of commerce.”
Basil Bailey, Head of Product for EMEA Merchant Services at J.P. Morgan, added, “Our work with FreedomPay will support us in offering an in-store payment option to build upon our established eCommerce processing capabilities. Streamlining merchants’ operations will help save them costs, time and drive growth.”
As Fazzaco reported earlier, Confluence Technologies, Inc. has expanded partnership with JP Morgan to deliver a multi-asset portfolio analytics solution. By the beginning of the third financial quarter of 2021, Confluence’s performance and risk solution, Delta, will have expanded its coverage to include U.S. securitized products. The solution will be enpowered by J.P Morgan’s proprietary analytics, and will also be available via the company’s platform.
