FTX-Owned Liquid Set to Return Customer Assets Next Year

Liquid, a Japanese crypto exchange which was acquired by FTX in this February, unveiled yesterday its plan to return assets to customers in 2023.
"For the assets entrusted to us by our customers at FTX Japan and Liquid Japan, we are proceeding with system development so that withdrawals will be possible from the Liquid Japan web version, " the exchange said in a statement.
The new system is designed to allow users who are unable to access FTX to check their FTX Japan balances from the Liquid Japan website, and make withdrawals from there as well.
On Dec. 13, Liquid reassured its users on Twitter that they were cooperating with FTX as the latter relates to it. "We have not forgotten about our users, and we will provide further updates when we can," said the exchange.
On Nov 15, Liquid suspended all withdrawals due the the liquidity crunch faced by its parent company FTX. Then on Nov. 21, it halted all trading services on account of FTX's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
