Regulatory compliance technology provider FundApps has received a growth equity investment from FTV Capital, the firms announced this week. The capital will be used to support FundApps' international expansion and further development of its software platform.

FundApps, founded in 2010, offers cloud-based tools that automate regulatory compliance tasks such as shareholding disclosure and position limit monitoring. Its platform currently supports more than 160 clients across North America, EMEA, and Asia, and is used to monitor over $29 trillion in assets under management.

The company stated that it plans to use the new funding for product development as well as potential acquisitions. Specific financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. As part of the deal, FTV Capital representatives Richard Earnshaw, Max Weber, and Jon Bernstein will join FundApps' board of directors.

The investment also marks a full exit for previous investor Scottish Equity Partners.

Andrew Patrick White, Founder and CEO of FundApps, described the investment as a step toward scaling operations and expanding the firm's presence across financial markets. FundApps' platform incorporates regulatory rule updates and peer-reviewed compliance practices across more than 100 jurisdictions.

FTV Capital, a U.S.-based firm managing over $10 billion in assets, has made several recent investments in European regulatory technology companies. The FundApps deal further expands its position in the sector.
