FX Veteran James Roddy Joins BidX Markets as Head of Institutional Sales

Fazzaco learned that BidX Markets, an FCA regulated multi-asset liquidity solutions provider based in London, has appointed James Roddy as its new Head of Institutional Sales.

In his new role, James will be responsible for serving professional client base of the company, meeting their trading needs and providing them with its industry leading technology, Tier 1 liquidity, and outstanding client service team. Based in the broker's London office, James will report to CEO Simon Blackledge.

The industry veteran brings nearly 25 years experience in Forex. Before joining Bidx Markets, James served as Sales Director – Institutional Sales at Bosonic. Previously, James also held management positions at many well-known companies, including VIBHS Financial UK, ICM Capital, Valbury Capital, ODL Securities, BGC Partners, and TP ICAP.

BidX Markets, founded in 2021 by Simon Blackledge, had previously operated MT4/MT5 white label solutions provider itexsys. The company has been strengthening its leadership team since the beginning of this year, with appointment of Arun Lakhani as Operations Manager in July and Robert Brown as Head of Strategic Development in March. In addition, the broker formed a strategic partnership with multi-bank ECN provider Solid​ in February.
