FXGT Former Executive Joins EC Markets

​Retail FX and CFDs broker EC Markets has appointed Sherwan Zeybo as its new Global Head of Business Development. Based in Cyprus, Zeybo brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in the industry, having served as Global Head of Business Development and Partnerships at FXGT for the past five years. His career also includes stints at companies such as t4trade, Eurotrader, BDSwiss, and AAATrade.

Zeybo's appointment comes at a time when EC Markets, which operates regulated subsidiaries in London, Australia, and South Africa, continues to strengthen its international presence. The broker also maintains offshore entities in Seychelles and Mauritius.

With a focus on expanding its global reach and enhancing its business development efforts, EC Markets is looking to leverage Zeybo's extensive expertise to drive growth in the highly competitive retail forex and CFDs market.

In August 2024, the broker unveiled a global expansion and comprehensive rebranding initiative to mark its 12th anniversary​. The rebranding effort includes a new logo designed to reflect the company's commitment to innovation and excellence.
