The liquidity storm brought by the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank last month to the banking industry and even the financial industry seems to have calmed down, and the rescue of Credit Suisse is also drawing to a close. On Tuesday, UBS secured a temporary green light from EU antitrust regulators to complete its acquisition of Credit Suisse.
Meanwhile, UBS reportedly has planned to layoff as many as 36,000 workers, about 30% of its workforce, as part of its takeover of Credit Suisse. That would make it the company with the largest job cuts globally in the past six months.
Financial markets are still in the doldrums. According to a message on Tuesday from Paxful Founder and CEO, Ray Youssef, the peer-to-peer bitcoin trading platform is suspending its marketplace due to departures of some key staff and the growing regulatory challenge for the industry, and the company is uncertain if it will return. On Thursday, the UK FCA ordered the wealth management firm WealthTek to immediately cease operations after it discovered “serious” regulatory and operational issues.
Thus, the regulation in the industry is becoming more and more strict. It remains to be seen whether the recent crisis will prompt regulators to tighten their rules further.

1. Capital.com - Operational Risk Manager
Capital.com, a forex and CFD broker, is searching for an Operational Risk Manager who will have Global involvement and work with the firm's Compliance and Legal departments. The role will report to Head of Risk.
Requirements:
3+ years experience in Operational Risk at a Senior level;
CFD knowledge or previous experience in financial services is preferable;
Experience growing and managing a team is preferable.
2. FxPro - Product Manager (Social Trading Platform)
FxPro Financial Services Limited (FxPro), the premier trading broker, is looking for a Product Manager to join in its IT team. In this role, the individual will take ownership and manage the social trading platform from scratches.
Requirements:
Relevant Experience in the Trading Industry Sector;
proven experience in developing relevant product from scratch;
University Degree in Computer Science or other IT related engineering discipline;

7+ years of experience in Operations, Systems Administration, and Web Development;
Familiarity with financial products and underlying technologies, especially global equities markets and cryptocurrencies;
Deep understanding and hands on experience with containerization in general (docker/kubernetes);
