FXSpotStream Posts Total Trading Volume of $1.134 Trillion in November 2021

Fazzaco learned that FXSpotStream, which provides a multibank Forex and precious metals streaming service, has posted its trading volumes for November 2021, showing a rise in FX activity.

In November, FXSpotStream reported an overall trading volume of $1.134 trillion, which was a slight increase compared to the previous month. November's ADV stood at $51.5 billion, which was up by 2.2 percent compared to October 2021. The ADV rose by 15.8 percent when compared to the same period last year. 

A closer look at the data shows that November was basically flat with October, until the very last few trading days, when Omicron variant fears negatively affected financial markets, and sent trading volumes soaring across equities and FX. The increase in activity from November 26-30, in which daily trading was almost double daily averages, accounted for most of the increase as stated above.
