FXSpotStream Records Total Trading Volume of $1.25 Trillion in March 2021

Fazzaco learned that FXSpotStream, which provides a multibank Forex and precious metals streaming service, has published its trading volumes for the month of March, revealing a significant month on month jump of the total trading volume and the average trading volume (ADV).

Last month, FXSpotStream recorded a total forex trading volume of $1.25 trillion compared to the previous month's $992 billion, meaning there was a month-on-month jump of 26 percent. In fact, it was the second month that the monthly trading volume on the platform surpassed the $1 trillion mark.

The ADV for the month stood at $54.67 billion compared to $49.596 billion for February, a monthly rise of 10.2 percent. However, on a yearly basis, the ADV remained 12.4 percent lower. 

Earlier this year, Fazzaco reported that the platform will add FX Algos and Allocation functionality over its API from the second quarter of this year. Additionally, the company has announced several key appointments​ in recent months.
