FxSpotStream Registers Rise in ADV in August 2023, But Dip in Total Volume

The FX streaming aggregation service provider FXSpotStream experienced a decline in the total average daily volume (ADV) for the month of August 2023, to $60.8 billion, compared to $65.1 billion in July 2023.
The August figure breaks the streak of consistent increase from June to July.
The total volume on the FxSpotStream platform, however, was slightly higher than that of the prior month, coming in at $1.39 trillion. This was due to more trading days in August than July.
The spot ADV value during this period was $48 billion, lower 8.6% over $52.5 billion in the previous month.
Late last month, Fazzaco reported that FXSpotStream has hired Jeff Ward from CME Group as permanent Chief Executive Officer, effective from January 1, 2024.
