FXSpotStream Reports 16.8% Monthly Decline in December ADV

Fazzaco learned that FXSpotStream, a FX streaming aggregation service provider, has published its monthly trading metrics for December. The company witnessed a drop in its total volume for the period compared to November 2021.

According to the press release, the firm had a total volume figure of $986,560 billion in $986,560 billion, compared with November's $1,133,839 billion. On a yearly basis, the figure was slightly more positive, up by 0.3% year-on-year when compared to what was recorded in December 2020.

The average daily volume (ADV) for December 2021 came in $42,894 billion, which is a decline of 16.8% on a monthly basis. On a yearly basis, ADV rose by 0.3% compared to the same period last year.

In November, FXSpotStream reported an overall trading volume of $1.134 trillion, which was a slight increase compared to the previous month. November's ADV stood at $51.5 billion, which was up by 2.2 percent compared to October 2021.
