Gang Wang Moves to Nuvei as CTO

Canadian fintech company Nuvei Corporation has onboarded Gang Wang, a proven groundbreaker and leader with deep knowledge of the payments and software sectors, as its new Chief Technology Officer.
With over 25 years of experience leading technology teams at the cutting edge of innovation for large organizations, Wang will spearhead Nuvei's technology strategy, including research and architecture, reporting to Nuvei Chair and CEO Philip Fayer.
Before joining Nuvei, he spent over four years at Stripe, most recently as Head of Payment Methods. Previously, he dedicated more than thirteen years to Intuit, a global technology platform.

There is already a strong spirit for rapid innovation permeating throughout the business, and I am looking forward to leveraging my experience to capitalize on this momentum, advancing our technology strategy, and keeping Nuvei at the forefront as the payments industry evolves," said Wang.
He will lead Nuvei's technology team alongside former CTO Max Attias, who has been named Chief Information Officer.

Nuvei has received a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore last month.
