Garanti BBVA Crypto Adds Tether Trading and Transfers

Garanti BBVA Crypto has introduced trading and transfer services for Tether (USDT), giving its users access to the world's most widely traded stablecoin. The new service supports transactions through the Ethereum network and allows users to trade USDT pairs on the platform.

Tether has become a mainstay in the cryptocurrency ecosystem due to its one-to-one peg with the US dollar. For many traders, it provides a way to avoid price swings in other digital assets while maintaining flexibility for transactions. Stablecoins like USDT are particularly popular in emerging markets, where demand for dollar-linked instruments has increased.

Onur Güven, CEO of Garanti BBVA Crypto, underlined the growing appetite for such products in Türkiye. "Cryptocurrency investment is growing rapidly in Türkiye, and investors increasingly rely on stablecoins," he said. "Tether streamlines both trading and transfers for our users."

Garanti BBVA Crypto was the first bank-backed digital asset platform in Türkiye when it launched. It combines traditional banking infrastructure with digital asset services, aiming to provide both security and efficiency to investors. By joining global exchanges that already support USDT, the platform positions itself closer to the international crypto marketplace.
