Gareth Thomas Appointed as SVP of ATS Operations at Oasis Pro Markets

Fazzaco learned that Oasis Pro Markets, a US-regulated alternative trading system (ATS), has appointed Gareth Thomas as Senior Vice President of ATS Operations.

Oasis Pro Markets is authorized to allow its subscribers to trade digital securities and make payment for those digital securities in digital cash or fiat. Its system allows subscribers to trade both registered and unregistered securities on the ATS, trade digital securities OTC, trade both equity and debt in digital form through the use of a blockchain, and invest in initial private offerings that can be recorded on a blockchain.

Thomas has extensive experience in the forex industry. Prior to joining Oasis Pro Markets, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Sheer Markets, a CySEC licensed CFD provider.

Before that, he was Head of eFX at BTIG, and Director of Sales at Fastmatch. He started his career at NatWest Markets, providing treasury services and FX dealing for UK corporate clients.
