Gary Clifford-Newman Joins StoneX as SVP, Prime Services Sales From Sova Capital

Fazzaco learned that StoneX Group Inc., a diversified global brokerage and financial services firm, has hired Gary Clifford-Newman as its new Senior Vice President - Prime Services Sales, based in London.

Before joining StoneX, Clifford-Newman has been part of the London-based broker Sova Capital for more than four years. During his time at the firm, he served as Vice President - Prime Services Sales initially, then rose to Director - Prime Services Sales after over two years.

Prior to Sova Capital, he worked at Linear Investments Ltd as Vice President - Prime Services Sales & Relationship Management for over three years. Between April 2012 and June 2015, he was at KCG Holdings, Inc., an American global financial services firm which was acquired by Virtu Financial, Inc. in 2017, as Associate - Business and Relationship Management. 

Previously, Clifford-Newman was Associate - Global Fund Services Relationship Management at Northern Trust Corporation. He holds the MA degree of Business Administration and Management from University of Warwick.

This month, Fazzaco reported that StoneX Group achieved very strong performance during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023​ ended December 31, 2022, delivering increases in operating revenues and net income.
