GCEX Appoints Alex Iakobachvili as Vice President Of Business Development

Fazzaco learned that GCEX, an FCA regulated digital brokerage which enables brokers, funds and professional traders to access deep liquidity in digital assets and FX, has appointed Alex Iakobachvili as its Vice President Of Business Development.

Iakobachvili is an experienced financial industry professional. Prior to joining GCEX, he served as an Executive Director at London-based B2B Prime Services. Before that, he was the CEO and Executive Director at FCA-regulated Price Markets.

In addition, Iakobachvili has spent over one year at Global Markets Group (GMG), an FCA regulated brokerage group, serving as its Managing Director and CEO. During his career he has worked with other big names such as Global Market Index Limited, CFH Clearing Limited, Squared Financial Ltd, London Capital Group and so on.

GCEX is trying to become a big name in the forex and cryptocurrency liquidity space. The company has announced major hires to ramp up its international growth plans. Earlier this month, Michael Aagaard, former Head of Foreign Exchange at Saxo Bank has been appointed as Managing Director of GCEX in Denmark.
