GCEX Secures Industry Veteran Theo Papathanasiou as Advisor
GCEX, a crypto trading technology provider, has lured Theo Papathanasiou to join the Burgeoning regulated crypto exchange as Advisor of Sales & Business development.
Theo brings with an extensive institutional FX background to the new role. During his career, Theo spent six years at Saxo Bank from 2012-2018 where he was Head of Global Sales Trading and Head of Client Trading Services.
As seen on his Linkedin profile, Theo was also served as Regional lSales Director at Interactive Brokers UK. Additionally, he was the VP Foreign Exchange Sales at Citi.
Commenting on the new appointment, Lars Holst, GCEX's CEO and founder, said:"Having another seasoned executive on the team only adds to our credibility and pedigree in this area, something I believe is lacking in the existing crypto market space. But I believe it is equally important to add yet another safe pair of hands to expand our White Label and FX distribution, which is a cornerstone of GCEX, both for revenue and our expansion roadmap.”
