Genesis Vision to Suspend Services over Significant Exposure to Russia

The social trading platform Genesis Vision announced yesterday that it has been forced to halt services due to its significant exposure to Russia.

Specifically, all Genesis Vision Funds and accounts will be forcibly closed on 17th of November 2022, and all funds will be withdrawn to its user wallets.

The firm states that its legal entities were originally highly affiliated with Russian citizens. It has to make adjustments to its business operations as a result of the growing sanction pressures. Various Genesis Vision employees have migrated and its team is currently branched out across 5 different countries.

"Since February we have been working tirelessly to find another work around to maintain operations in such an unstable environment, but recent restrictions from Binance — to our corporate account, have caused us another setback," said the company.

For firms that are from restricted jurisdictions, Binance has decided to disable their API keys.

"We'll continue working on reorganizing our legal structure and our products, in order to make them compliant again. We will keep our community and users updated on our progress in this regard," added Genesis Vision.
