Glenn Blundell Rises to MD, Global Markets FX Trading at CIBC Capital Markets

The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) Capital Markets, one of Canada's top investment banks and part of the Canadian Big Five, has selected its long-time alum Glenn Blundell to assume the role of Managing Director, Global Markets FX Trading.

Glenn has spent approximately two decades at CIBC. Prior to his new role, he served the bank as Executive Director, Head of Global FX e-Trading & e-Sales Desks, and before that as Executive Director, Head of Global FX e-Trading Desk.

Glenn joined CIBC in 2003 as Sr. Manager of Global Network Services - World Markets. Afterwards, his multiple senior positions included Sr. Director - Trading Operational Risk, Capital Markets Risk Management, and Sr. Director - Strategic Initiatives, Global Operational Risk Management. In 2015, he was promoted to Executive Director, FX e-Trader.

Before joining CIBC, Glenn worked at KPMG for over two years as Management Consultant.
