Global Brokerage Posts Negative Unaudited Metrics for Q2 2021

Global Brokerage Inc. (Global Brokerage), a leader in offering FX trading and CFD trading, has posted its unaudited financial figures for Q2 ending on June 30, 2021.

The financial reports disclosed that Global Brokerage’s total stockholders’ deficit stood at $173.2 million as of June 30, 2021, compared to that of the same period of previous year at $164 million.
In terms of the total net revenues, the figure fell to $22.73 million. Whereas, the number of the first quarter reached $31.5 million.
Additionally, the net loss was around $9.09 million in Q2 2021, compared to $8.5 million reported for Q1 2021.
On December 11, 2017, Global Brokerage filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Then in February 2018, it successfully emerged from bankruptcy.
Global Brokerage is a shareholder of the broker FXCM with 50.1% equity ownership and a minority economic interest. More importantly, FXCM has no responsibility or obligation for Global Brokerage’s debt or other obligations.
