GODO Capital Markets Appoints Sargon Goriel as Non-Executive Director to Lead Oman Operations and Drive Landmark Licensing Initiative

A key part of his mandate will be leading GODO’s initiative to secure a first-of-its-kind regulatory licence in Oman a milestone that would position GODO as the first brokerage firm to operate under this specific regulatory authority in the country. This achievement is set to significantly strengthen GODO’s regional footprint and reinforce its commitment to compliance, transparency, and long-term market presence.

Mr. Goriel brings a strong background in financial services, market entry strategy, and regulatory engagement across the GCC. His previous work in Oman includes facilitating introductions to key stakeholders and advising firms on establishing a sustainable presence within the Sultanate.

In his role at GODO, Mr. Goriel will:

· Lead the process to secure a pioneering regulatory licence in Oman

· Oversee establishment and expansion of GODO’s Oman operations

· Strengthen regulatory and institutional partnerships

· Drive market entry, growth, and client acquisition in the Sultanate
