Gold-i Enhances Institutional Crypto Liquidity with Crypto.com Integration
Gold-i announced on Thursday it has expanded its crypto liquidity offerings for institutional clients by integrating the Crypto.com Exchange into its MatrixNET liquidity management and distribution platform. The move is part of the firm's continued effort to enhance its MatrixNET liquidity pool.
"Crypto.com is one of the world's largest and most secure cryptocurrency platforms," stated Tom Higgins, CEO and Founder of Gold-i. He added the expansion enables MatrixNET clients to seamlessly connect to Crypto.com's liquidity pool for greater access to high-quality crypto liquidity.
Data from CoinMarketCap shows Crypto.com processed $2.1 billion in spot trading volume and nearly $1.3 billion in derivatives volume over the past 24 hours. Through this integration, eligible Gold-i clients in selected jurisdictions can now access the Crypto.com Exchange via a single FIX API connection to MatrixNET, aiming to simplify onboarding and reduce operational complexity.
Gold-i is actively consolidating its services; it recently merged its Matrix2 liquidity management platform, Crypto Switch™ institutional digital asset solution, and MatrixNET into a unified platform. Previous enhancements include adding Hyperliquid as its first decentralized finance exchange partner and integrating Edgewater Markets in February 2025 for access to precious metals, FX, and NDFs. According to the firm, MatrixNET is now connected to over 80 liquidity providers and 35 crypto exchanges.
