This move extends the existing relationship between the two firms, which previously covered FX liquidity, into cryptocurrency products. Scope Prime, the institutional arm of Rostro Group, will supply crypto CFD pricing through MatrixNET's aggregation infrastructure, with its feed starting at 0 basis points for top-of-book pricing and an average effective spread of about 5 basis points on $3 million BTCUSD notional.

Gold-i has been expanding MatrixNET's liquidity pool, having connected Crypto.com Exchange in March 2026 and adding decentralized exchange Hyperliquid earlier this year. Edgewater Markets joined in February 2025 for precious metals and FX. The platform now connects to over 80 liquidity providers and 35 crypto exchanges.

The integration occurs as competition among crypto CFD liquidity providers intensifies. Match-Prime Liquidity expanded its offering in August 2024, while Wincent opened its liquidity to CFD platforms via a deal with Wyden in March 2026. A Finery Markets survey from March indicates a potential market shakeout, with 60% of OTC participants expecting the number of active crypto liquidity providers to shrink by end-2026 and 75% reporting margin compression in 2025.

For Gold-i, adding Scope Prime is part of a strategy to position MatrixNET as a central hub for multi-asset liquidity. Gold-i Founder and CEO Tom Higgins has previously noted the convergence of crypto and FX liquidity. Scope Prime's integration also brings its "digi" CFD instruments, such as DigiXAU and DigiXAG, which enable 24/7 trading on traditional assets, and its prime brokerage services offering margins from 2% and large position limits.

Scope Prime CEO Daniel Lawrance stated the integration provides "faster, simpler access to a highly competitive institutional-grade feed" and reduces integration friction for shared clients. Higgins added that it "further strengthens our offering, providing clients with greater choice and increased capacity."

Under Rostro Group, Scope Prime has rapidly expanded, launching prime services for crypto CFDs in mid-2025, adding 77 altcoins in August 2025, and entering futures and options trading in February 2026. Rostro Group secured a UAE Category 5 license in late 2025 and has been hiring aggressively, with its headcount exceeding 200 by early 2026. Meanwhile, Gold-i's MatrixNET has been embedded into third-party platforms like Finalto's ClearVision, and its Visual Edge tool was added to Devexperts' DXtrade platform.
