Gold-i, the technology solutions provider for Forex and crypto brokers, has seen the departure of its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chris James.
Tom Higgins, CEO and Founder of Gold-i, expressed his gratitude for James's contributions to the company, stated in his latest LinkedIn post "Today, we bid sad farewell to Chris James, who joined Gold-i 12 years ago as a tester and rapidly rose to the position of CTO. Chris was responsible for many innovations during his tenure with us, and we will miss his immense intelligence and dedication."
Higgins further said: "On behalf of Gold-i, we thank Chris for all his hard work and wish him the best of luck in his next career adventure. We have no doubt that he will continue to be amazing in all his future endeavours."
According to his LinkedIn profile, Chris James joined Gold-i in June 2013 as a Quality Assurance Analyst and later served as a Product Development Manager in September 2016. Throughout his time at the company, he held various roles in the QA department, including Senior Quality Assurance Analyst and Head of Quality Assurance. In May 2018, he assumed the position of CTO, overseeing client support, operations and on-boarding, software development, and quality assurance teams.
Earlier this year, Fazzaco reported that Gold-i had introduced a Swap Free plug-in to its MT4 and MT5 product portfolio. This addition allows brokers to offer trading accounts that do not pay interest, providing greater flexibility to their clients.
