Graham Francis Named Group COO of Marex

Marex, a diversified global financial services platform, has strengened its senior leadership team, hiring Graham Francis as Group Chief Operating Officer.

According to the official press release, Graham will collaborate with the management team to manage all operational, technological and legal activities for Marex globally, helping the business grow in a sustainable, strategic and well-controlled way. He will report to Marex CEO, Ian Lowitt.

Most recently, Graham was Chief Operating Officer, Global Broking at TP ICAP, a UK-based interdealer broker and a world leading liquidity and data solutions provider. He spent two years at the firm.

From October 2008 to August 2021, Graham served ICAP, which is part of TP ICAP group and a leading markets operator and provider of execution and information services, with the role of Managing Director, EMEA Head of Energy and Commodities.

This hire comes after Marex's appointment of Rob Irvin​ as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in May.
