GTCFX Hires Charbel Raffoul as CEO

Dubai-based CFDs broker GTCFX has hired Charbel Raffoul as its new CEO, the company announced. Raffoul joins from rival broker ATFX, where he served as Head of Compliance for ATFX MENA for the past year.

Raffoul brings extensive compliance experience to the role. He was previously Chief Compliance Officer at Equiti Group from 2017 to 2025 and has also held senior compliance positions at ADSS, Alpari, and Swissquote.

The appointment follows GTCFX's recent addition of Abdelrahman Al Ali as General Manager. Al Ali joined the broker from the UAE's financial regulator, the CMA. Both Al Ali and Raffoul have strong compliance backgrounds.

About five months ago, GTCFX controlling shareholder Pingfu (Jack) Zheng posted on LinkedIn that he was looking for a Dubai office CEO to lead the group's Dubai business.

GTCFX is part of the GTC Group, which operates several CFDs trading brands, including ASIC-licensed GTC Global Australia Pty Ltd, UAE CMA-regulated GTC Financial Consultancy LLC, GTC Global SA (Pty) Ltd in South Africa, and offshore entities in Comoros, Mauritius, and Vanuatu that operate the gtcfx.com website. The GTC Group is controlled by Managing Partner Pingfu (Jack) Zheng.
