Sebbata brings over three decades of financial services experience covering online brokerage, CFD platforms, regulatory affairs, and mergers and acquisitions. He joins from Capital.com, where he was Head of Corporate Development, leading acquisition strategy and new market entries across the Americas, APAC, and Africa.

Previously, he served as CEO of BUX Financial Services UK and Global Managing Director for Derivatives, leading an 85-person team and expanding the CFD platform into six new European countries. His career also includes senior roles at Merrill Lynch, E*TRADE, and CMC Markets across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East.

"Salim's appointment is a significant step forward for our European business," said Christopher Gregory, GTN's CEO for Europe. "He brings the commercial depth and broker network we need to accelerate growth. His deep knowledge of the European landscape, platforms, partners, and regulations will help us scale our success."

In his new position, Sebbata will lead commercial strategy and partner development across Europe, collaborating with GTN's product, regulatory, and technology teams to deploy its API-first infrastructure to brokers, banks, asset managers, and fintechs.

"GTN has built a genuinely differentiated, regulated, API-first infrastructure providing access to 90+ markets and 8 asset classes through a single integration," said Sebbata. "Europe's fintech sector is at an inflection point, with a younger generation actively saving and investing. This pressures firms to offer more while reducing complexity. As a former fintech CEO, I understand these pain points and believe GTN is the ideal partner. I am excited to bring this proposition to market at scale."
