Hakam Thalji Leaves Orbex for The Trading Pit as Head of Dealing

Fazzaco learned that Hakam Thalji, who boasts over 20 years experience in FX and Global Markets and more than 15 years in an operational environment, has moved to The Trading Pit, a global multi-asset prop trading firm, as Head of Dealing.

Most recently, Hakam was Head of Brokerage and Dealing room Operations at Orbex, a multi-body regulated, industry-leading FX broker. He spent altogether over six years at the company, initially as Sales Supervisor.

Prior to that, Hakam worked at Vinson Financials Ltd, a professional online FX broker, as Head of Operations. Besides, he was Head of Dealing Room at Falcon Brokers, Ltd, Dealing Desk Manager at Trader Center, and Chief Dealer at Abrarr Financial Consultant. Also, Hakam served as Head Of Customer Service at GOLD AE DMCC.

This appointment comes after The Trading Pit's onboarding Artem Lomakin​ as Chief Innovation Officer.
