Hantec Markets Approaches Breakeven in 2021 Fiscal Year

Hantec Markets, a UK-headquartered forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker, has released its annual financials for the 2021 fiscal year ending 31 December, showing that the company approached breakeven for this year.
Specifically, the company's turnover and administrative expense both reached nearly of £5.4 million in 2021. Considering other operating income of £36,667, Hantec Markets made £2,472 operating loss.
In addition, after considering receivable and payable interest, the broker's profit before taxation for 2021 came in at £6,881. It ended the financial year with a net profit of £26,873.
Last year, Hantec Markets changed its fiscal year end from June to December, therefore reported 18 months worth of financial results (ending December 31, 2020). The total turnover of the company for the period came in at almost £7.9 million, which is 36 percent higher than the previous 18 months.
Last month, the broker has announced a new office opening in Chile as part of the company's continued expansion and development as a global brand. The office will serve as the company's Latin American Hub and will offer leveraged trading on global currencies, bullion, equities and commodities tailored to the region's consumer base.
