Hargreaves Lansdown appoints Penny James as Senior Independent Director
Fazzaco learned that Hargreaves Lansdown, a UK investment and online trading firm, announced the appointment of Penny James as Senior Independent Director, effective 1 September 2021. She will also join the Board Risk Committee and Nomination Committee.
As seen on her LinkedIn profile, Penny is currently working as CEO at Direct Line Group. Prior to joining Direct Line Group, she was Chief Risk Officer at Prudential plc. Before that, she served as Non-exec Director at Admiral Group Plc.
Penny is a graduate of the University of Bath with a bachelor's degree in Statistics. She is a Chartered Accountant.
