BidX Markets, a global FCA regulated multi-asset liquidity solutions provider, has hired Harry Fry, a finance expert with seasoned experience in the retail and institutional trading space, as its Head of Asia-Pacific (APAC).

Harry will work with the institutional sales and tech teams to help support BidX Markets' existing client base as well as grow the business in the APAC region, with a focus on giving brokers the flexibility and support they need to provide the best service offering to their traders. He will be based in Australia.

Harry joined BidX Markets from Invast Global, a leading multi-asset brokerage based in Sydney where he served as Director, Prime Services. Prior to that, he has been part of Finalto for more than five years. During this period, he worked as Trading Solutions Analyst initially, then was promoted to Institutional Business Development after 1 year and 10 months.

Previously, Harry's positions included Oversight Analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Client Accounts Administrator at Selftrade.

Simon Blackledge, CEO and Founder of BidX Markets commented: "We are delighted to be welcoming Harry Fry to the BidX Markets family. We've been on a bit of a hiring spree recently to accommodate our rapidly expanding client base across different regions. Harry brings with him extensive knowledge of our product offering as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills so can support our clients from all angles. He will have the support of BidX Markets cutting-edge technology and 360-degree service offering which allows us to stay ahead and offer the industry's leading trade execution, liquidity, and some of the best client support."

Harry Fry said: "I'm excited to be heading up BidX Markets Asia-Pacific operations. I believe my knowledge of the financial markets is going to support our institutional client base with liquidity, risk, and tech as well as our professional traders with trading and investment needs."

The new hire comes after BidX Markets' appointment of Shaun French as its new Multi Asset Research Analyst last month, with remits of overseeing the research department where daily financial market and global news will be packaged into easily digestible and engaging snippets.
