HFM Names Murilo de Oliveira as Country Manager in Brazil

Global forex and CFD broker HFM has appointed Murilo de Oliveira as its new Country Manager for Brazil, underscoring the company's commitment to expanding its presence in Latin America's largest economy.

De Oliveira brings over a decade of experience in financial services, most recently serving in a senior business development role at Hantec Markets, where he focused on Portuguese-speaking markets. He also held prior roles at leading Brazilian firms XP and Itau BBA.

Announcing his new position via social media, De Oliveira expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity. "I step into this new challenge with a firm commitment to lead HFM's expansion in the country," he stated, emphasizing a focus on "sustainable growth" and "top-tier service."

His appointment follows the earlier move of Hantec's former COO and CCO, Hayel Abu-Hamdan, to HFM as Chief Commercial Officer earlier this year.

HFM, previously known as HotForex, operates under multiple regulatory licenses, including CySEC in Europe, the UK's FCA, Dubai's DFSA, South Africa's FSCA, and Seychelles' FSA. The firm rebranded to HFM in 2022 as part of a strategic overhaul of its retail business.

De Oliveira's arrival marks a renewed push for regional leadership as the broker looks to solidify its footprint in the competitive Brazilian market.
