Hirose UK Appoints Nick Downes as Sales Director

Fazzaco learned that Hirose Financial UK Ltd., an online provider of retail foreign exchange trading services, has named Nick Downes as the company's Sales Director, eFX Business and Liquidity Management.

Nick is an experienced FX industry leader, having extensive experience in Institutional Sales and Business Development. As seen on his Linkedin profile, he joined Hirose UK from Makor Securities London Ltd., where he has been serving as eFX Business Development and Liquidity Management since February 2020.

Prior to this, Metafused procured him as Head Of Product Development from July 2018 to February 2020. Before this role, he was Co-Founder and Managing Director of Axiom Global Advisors Limited. Over the course of his career, he also held various roles in many institutions including Commerzbank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, and UBS.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, Hirose UK has released its financial results​ for the fiscal year 2022, ending on March 31, 2022, revealing a decline in turnover on a yearly basis. The UK-based broker registered a turnover of £348,627, down by 50% compared to FY2021's £696,159. Administrative expenses increased from £241,387 to £289,971.
