HKEX Launches Data Marketplace to Enhance Investor Experience

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has unveiled the HKEX Data Marketplace, a new web-based platform aimed at improving access to the exchange's historical and reference data. The platform offers a more intuitive user interface and provides various data delivery options, including cloud-based transfers, for an optimized experience.

The HKEX Data Marketplace initially offers commercial shareholding data from the Central Clearing and Settlement System (CCASS), historical full book data from securities and derivatives markets, and daily non-trading reference data. This initiative is designed to meet the growing demand from global investors for richer and more insightful market data.

Bonnie Y Chan, CEO of HKEX, commented, "Investors globally are looking for richer and more insightful data to help inform their investment strategies, and we at HKEX are fully committed to supporting them throughout their investment journey."
